Saturday AUG. 31, 2013

1000 hrs
  • Camp setup can begin at Fairgrounds

1100 hrs
  • Fairgrounds open to the public, guided displays and demonstrations of over 70+ military vehicles, including tanks, artillery pieces, various tracked configurations, jeeps, trucks and more.
  • Legion canteen opens

1330 to 1430 hrs
  • Military re-enactors show at Fairgrounds

1500 to 1600 hrs
  • Military vehicle trail ride. Assemble at Fairgrounds.

1700 to 1800 hrs
  • Dinner at Royal Canadian Legion Br, 581

1700 to 0100 hrs
  • Social evening & renewing of friendships at Fairgrounds


Admission to the Fairgrounds is $5.00 for entire weekend. 
This includes all events at the Fairgrounds. 



The following events will have additional fees:
  • Legion breakfasts at the Legion Branch 581 will cost $5.00 and are open to all.
  • Legion dinner to be served at the Legion Branch 581 on Saturday evening will cost $12.00 and is open to all.
  • Warrior's Day Dinner to be served at the Fairgrounds on Sunday evening will cost $12.00 and is open to all.

Sunday SEPT. 1, 2013

0700  hrs
  • Breakfast at Legion Br. 581

0900 to 1300 hrs
  • Fairgrounds open to the public

1100 hrs
  • Parade Drivers meeting in Agricultural  Hall at Fairgrounds

1130 to 1230 hrs
  • Military re-enactor show at Fairgrounds

1330 hrs
  • Parade vehicles marshal at the east end of Coe Hill

1400 to 1530 hrs
  • Parade starts at west end of town and proceeds on Main Street, past the saluting base opposite Br 581 to the Fairgrounds. the reviewing officer will be Lieutenant Colonel Robert Patchett, LL.B., CD   Commanding Officer of Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Duke of Edinburgh”s Own). Joining him  will be Darryl Kramp PC, MP and other VIPs.
  • Royal Canadian Air Force Flyover presenting a CCC 130 Hercules aircraft from 8 Wing  CFB Trenton at 1445 hrs (2:45 PM).
1530 to 1630 hrs
  • Military style "church Parade" and memorial cenotaph service with the laying of wreaths at the Fairgrounds Grandstand. The "Church Parade" to be officiated by the Rector of the Anglican parish of Tyendinaga, Father Brad Smith.
  • Guest Bugler: Captain Kelly Dixon - Commanding Officer of 608 Duke of Edinburgh Air Cadet Squadron in Belleville.

1700 to 1800 hrs
  • Dinner is served at the Fairgrounds under the "Canvas".
  • Legion canteen opens - 50-50 Ticket draw

2300 hrs
  • Legion canteen closes
